If app shows wrong count of wishlist items?

If products/variants added in wislist are removed from admin it will still exist in wishlist database. So you need to remove them manually.

Go to Wishlist -> Manage Wishlist page.

Click on view customers link next to [ Product not found ] and remove records for deleted products.
